INSTRUCTIONS FOR QUIZ #2 of the Second Term
All week long the FCAs have been as follows:
2 points: all problems completed with evidence of thought
2 points: work, explanations and answers are provided or shown when required
DIRECTIONS:
1. Choose your one best home nugget. Use one side of the index card you are given to make a strong argument for why you deserve a 4. What are the strengths of the work you have done? What would you like the reader to notice about your work? Why should they give you a 4?
2. You will hand in this home nugget along with the index card.
3. You will receive another student’s home nugget and index card.
4. Read over the student’s home nugget and index card, then on the reverse of the card assign the student a grade of 1 – 4 based on the FCAs we have had all week. You must provide specifics about what you noticed on the lesson – what were some strengths and weaknesses that stood out?
5. Multiply whatever grade you gave the student by 15 and circle this number.
You have just finished scoring 60% of another student’s quiz while someone else is scoring your quiz.
