Preparation for Our First Test on Monday

Students often naturally ask about how best to prepare for upcoming math exams. The following points should serve as reassurance for any anxiety you may have:

1. This weekend's home nugget is a great 'study guide' for the test
2. We spent time in class today ensuring that your class notes, corrected work and handouts were in order and these are a valuable resource to look over and study
3. Any information that shows up on an assessment is on topics that we have covered in class - there will not be any unexpected 'surprise' topics. The goal is to get a measure of what students have been able to learn in the classroom and at home through study.
