Today's primary focus was on a continued effort to convince students that either by way of experience or intuition, they should be comfortable with a handful of skills in order to move ahead in our exploration:
1. Be able to recognize when a pattern of change is exponential.
2. Be able to accurately graph an exponential growth pattern.
3. Be able to identify a growth factor and appropriate exponents for an equation representing an exponential growth pattern.
Additionally, we briefly explored the concept of what it means to have a specific starting value in an exponential growth relationship such that the resulting equation appears slightly more sophisticated.
