Our constant theme in our math classroom is to learn for understanding. We strive to get a genuine grasp of concepts and ideas that will allow us to know these ideas for life. Having just returned from an extended holiday break, this is an opportune time to examine whether students truly have a handle on linear relationships that is meaningful. Today's quiz is broken into four strands on linear relationships and will be graded over the weekend. The strands are listed below.
Solve an equation of the form y = mx + b symbolically
Understanding the meaning of slope and y-intercept in relation to a set of data
Represent data in coordinate graphs
Write the equation of a line given the coordinates of two points on the line data in coordinate graphs
